A VERY active lightning storm in Broomfield, CO
About 20 minutes ago, as we were coming back from Amelie’s birthday party in Boulder, we noticed a pretty serious storm to our south west. I got home in time to take a few pix before getting run inside from edge of the storm.
It was all over in about 15 minutes, the temperature dropped 20 degrees, and it’s beautiful outside.
We had one of our typical late-spring early-summer thunderstorms out here on Friday. Went from Sunshine to Hail (pea sized) then on to HEAVY rain to a beautiful sunset.
We had our annual Fourth of July block party, where we block off the streets, and let all the neighborhood kids run around and play. Lots of fun, lots of people, and way too much food. And we get a light show to top it all off!
I found a new genealogy program that is MUCH more powerful than the one I was using to present information before. It’s entirely web-based, and called “The Next Generation (TNG)”.
Is it wrong that spring cleaning led me to trade in my Sportster on a new Softail Deluxe Nostalgia?
