Back in the late 90’s, I started a set of pages called the “Colorado Rocky Mountain Trip Reports (CRMTR)”, to collect trip reports to the Colorado 14-ers (the 54 peaks in Colorado that are above 14,000 feet in elevation). It was fun reading these reports, but maintenance became too time-consuming when I was doing the entire site using hand-written HTML.
A lot of people started referring to these reports, so over the last couple major site revisions, I decided that I had to maintain the pages “as is”. Some of the links are stale, but a surprising number still survive. If you let me know of new links for stories that exist today, I’ll do my best to update them as soon as possible.
Click here to open the CRMTR “front page” in a new window.
I may do something more advanced with them (based on PHP and a database back-end that generates links automatically), but for now, enjoy what’s there… They won’t go away as long as parkerpress.com is running.
