New Genealogy Pages

June 1, 2011 8:17 am

I found a new genealogy program that is MUCH more powerful than the one I was using to present information before. It’s entirely web-based, and called “The Next Generation (TNG)”.

So, as of mid-May 2011, all our genealogy information has been updated to the latest versions, and available by clicking here. If you’re family, be sure to register on that page for considerably more access and functionality (like the ability to edit/update/suggest changes)

George W. Eaton

While doing genealogical research, Mom ran across an old, hand-colored tin-type of George W. Eaton in her grandmothers archives. George is not related to us, but if he’s related to you, let us know and we’ll get the picture on it’s way to you ASAP.

This is a picture of George Eaton who was born in Missouri about 1840 and came across the plains to California. He lived in Paskenta, Tehama, California. He married Louisa Matilda Holland about 1860. He died 7 Oct 1920.

grave creek band 150x150 Grave Creek Band, Montana : ca 1915Mom was doing research and found the following picture that somebody out there must be interested in. The picture was taken March 25, 1915 in Montana, probably Lincoln County. On the back, in pencil, were the following names:

1 – Anton Johnson,
2 – Will Marston,
3 – Jens Nelson,
4 – Dora Marston,
5 – Carl Hegglen,
6 – Frank Marston,
7 – Oscar Hetemis,
8 – Arvid Johnson,
9 – Oscar Stemberk

Let us know if you’re interested in the original picture. This was in the possession of my great-grandmother, Elisabeth Smith, who lived in Eureka Montana during this time period.

We don’t have any other related information other than the photograph itself.

Steve
