Are you related to her? I cannot remember the name of the person she married after Joe passed away. Do you know it? I believe they lived in Arizona. I would like to contact her children. I believe that Norma has passed away, but perhaps Jim, Beverly, and Donna are still in Michigan.

Yes I am related she was my great Aunt, after Joe died she married Street, He also died, her son James is also passed on, as well as Norma.... but her daughter Beverly & Donna are still alive, Donna has a beauty salon in Manton,, and I believe Beverly lives in Midland Mi..

John Street was her 2nd husband, and Donna's last name is Foxworthy.. and yes John and Lora lived in Arizonia- south of Flagstaff,,,little town ( cant remember the name) but I took my mom and a aunt out for Aunt Lora's 80 th birthday

Thank you Paula. Do you know when and where James Died? I have that Norma died in 2008 in Michigan. She and her husband and children came to California to visit us sometime in the 70's. Is Monie (Bud) still alive? I haven't met Lora's other children though. Marilyn

James died may 13, 2007 in Manton, yes as far as I know Bud is alive,,,, they lost their grandson Monie Dean back in 1995, while traveling out of state, and yes Norma died in Michigan too, its been long time since I seen Bev,, but visit with Donna every year when I go to mich-- we talk genealogy of course..lol she gave me pics of Aunt Lora as a baby and her graduation and I gave her some of Aunt Lora with her dad and her brother that she hadnt seen....

James M. Sherman age 70 of Buckley died Sunday May 13, 2007. He was born in Manton on May 18, 1936 to James Joseph and Lora ( Barnes) Sherman. He grew up in the Manton area , graduated from Manton High School in 1955 and served in the U.S Army Infantry. On April 17, 1961 he married the former Rita Lang in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Mr Sherman lived in Wisconsin and Lanfing Michigan before moving to Buckley. He was employed by Volkswagen in Wisconsin, Lansing and Travers City Michgian for 15 years and then for Essex Wire-United Technology, retiring in 2001. He enjoyed hunting, fishing camping and the outdoors. Survivors include his wife, Rite, a son John ( Donna ) Sherman, of Ypsilanti, a daughter, Lynette ( Michael) DeWeese of Tulsa Ok, three sisters Norma (Bud)Shafer of Lake City, Beverly (LeRoy)Thayer of Midland and Donna (Lynn)Foxworthy of Manton, and eight grandchildren. He was preseded in death by his parents and a son Kenneth. A Memorial service will be held at the Manton United Methodist Church on Thursday May 17, 2007 at 11 am with Rev Linda Carlson officiating. A luncheon will be serrved following the service. Arrangements were made by the Hall Funeral Chapel in Manton
