  buried in Woodland Hills Cemetary West of Woodland on Hwy 16. Ashley and Meta lived their early life in Southern California and came to Woodland in 1945 where Ashley was in the grain business. They lived the rest of their lives in Woodland at 1016 2nd Street. He was a veteran of WWII; a member of the American Legion, Yolo post 77, and a life member of the Elks Lodge.
