Hi Annette, We get enough heads together maybe we can sort this out. I have records and certificates and letters,very old and brittle and hard to read but, Benjamin Sly b. 1746,England d. Ontario Co. N.Y.m.Johanna ? b. England d. Ontario Co. N.Y. 4 children- my line Joshua F. Sly b.1772 Ontario Co. N.Y.d. 1849 Ohio,Christofer b. 7 Sept.1779 Ontario Co N.Y. d.13,Sept 1845, Oakland Co. Michigan, Gideon ? and Benjamin ? Joshua m. Lucretia Calkins b. 7 Aug 1776,Stafford,Orange Co. Vermont in 1793 had 3 children-my line Soloman Calkins b.1794 Ontario Co. N.Y.d.7 Apr. 1871 Ohio, Benjamin ? and Martha Lovinia ?. Lucretia divorced Joshua and took 2 kids with her but left Soloman who was almost 5 with his Dad. Lucretia m.Joseph Thornton and had more children. Hope this helps some.
