I've been shooting pictures since I was a young child, and had some "semi-formal" training in both grade school and high school. I was involved in high school yearbook photography, and had my own darkroom for a while. After high school, I ended up getting more into the computer field, and my photography really faded away for a few years.
I've always taken pictures primarily for myself, but about 10 years ago, decided to get back into photography a little more seriosly, this time focusing (pun intended) on the digital realm, and trying to market my work.
I'm currently shooting with a Nikon D200 using a variety of lenses (most of my shots from 2003 through mid-2006 were from a D100), and occasionally with a Nikon S6 for those "quick, one-time shots" that always seem to crop up when I don't have the camera bag with me.
While I do mostly landscape/nature photography, I'm starting to investigate other art forms. After all, you can only have so many pictures of a similar nature hanging before you start looking for contrast and balance...
